Netflix announced that the total amount of electrical energy consumed to deliver Netflix to its customers was 451,000 MWh in 2019.[https://s22.q4cdn.com/959853165/files/doc_downloads/2020/02/0220_Netflix_EnvironmentalSocialGovernanceReport_FINAL.pdf] With 167 million subscribers that’s 2.7 kWh energy consumption per Netflix subscriber in 2019. 2.7 kWh should be the amount of energy necessary to bake 3-6 frozen pizzas.
